A Finer Future is Possible: A talk with Hunter Lovins

April 28 | 3 p.m. | Free
Colorado Mountain College, Breckenridge

Join HC3 and its community partners for a talk by renowned author and sustainability expert, Hunter Lovins. Hunter will share wisdom from her new book, A Finer Future, including how communities, citizens, and businesses can help to transform our economy to a regenerative economy which restores the environment instead of depleting it.

Hunter Lovins is the President and Founder of Natural Capitalism Solutions, a non-profit formed in 2002 in Longmont, CO. She believes that citizens, communities and companies, working together within the market context, are the most dynamic problem-solving force on the planet. She has devoted herself to building teams that can create and implement practical and affordable solutions to the problems facing us in creating a sustainable future.

A renowned author and champion of sustainable development for over 35 years, Hunter has consulted on business, economic development, sustainable agriculture, energy, water, security, and climate policies for scores of governments, communities, and companies worldwide.

This event is sponsored by Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church and Co-Sponsored by High Country Conservation Center, Colorado Mountain College – Breckenridge, and the Summit Interfaith Council.
