Taylor joins the HC3 team with a breadth of experience in technical building systems, energy performance, and sustainable project management, and has dabbled in many other areas such as sustainable policy and ecosystem restoration projects. An Ohioan by birth and growing up in Maryland, Taylor was engrained with love and respect for the natural world through camping trips with friends and family, a robust outdoor education program, and local organizations like the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Despite his east coast and Midwest roots, Taylor was naturally drawn to the high Rockies after treasured family vacations to Breckenridge left him wanting more. He achieved a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Denver in 2016 and has since called Summit County home. Reading, backpacking, skiing, biking, and fly fishing are among his favorite pastimes, along with some more creative pursuits of woodworking and noodling around on the old six-string. Taylor believes to his core in our collective ability and responsibility to live in productive harmony with mother nature and is committed to helping realize that sustainable vision for Summit County.
