Mike Dennis grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, where his love for nature and the outdoors first took root. In 2011, he moved to Colorado and has called Summit County home since 2013. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Mike spent time in California exploring natural organic farming and land development. This experience deepened his passion for organic growing and inspired him to pursue it more seriously. Upon returning to Colorado, Mike enrolled in the Ecosystem Science and Stewardship program at Colorado Mountain College. His focus shifted toward community-centered growing practices and giving back to the place he’s called home for over a decade. Before joining the HC3 Grow to Share program, Mike worked as a CSA intern in the summer of 2024, where he supported local food production. Outside of the garden, Mike enjoys live music, skiing, and hiking the beautiful trails of Summit County.
