Lauren comes to HC3 with experience in marketing, development and program management in the non-profit sector. Her passion for the outdoors began when she studied abroad in Australia, sparking her interest in environmental stewardship. After graduating from Kansas State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Leadership Studies, Lauren headed west and landed in Crested Butte. She began her professional career working at Western Colorado University as the Program Coordinator for the leadership and orientation office in 2015. Lauren and her husband, Andy moved to Frisco in 2018 and she started her role as the Marketing & Development Manager at Breckenridge Music. Her professional career allows Lauren to bring experience in executing marketing projects, leading events, and fundraising to HCCC. Lauren’s time in the mountains has further solidified her commitment to conserving our unique environment. Lauren enjoys experiencing the mountains through skiing, running, biking, and boating with her husband Andy, her new son Owen, and her wild dog Kochevar.
