I live in:
Copper Mountain. Summit County has been my full-time home since 1993.
I work at:
Copper Mountain Resort as the Mountain Sports Director.
I joined the board:
Summer 2023.
I joined the board because:
I’ve relied on natural resources for my livelihood throughout my life, from growing up on a small cattle ranch in New Mexico to my career in the ski industry. Joining the High Country Conservation board is my way of giving back to a community and environment that have given me so much. I’m passionate about promoting practical solutions for waste reduction, resource conservation, and environmental stewardship while fostering a strong, connected Summit County.
My passion is:
Spending summers sailing on Lake Dillon and winters skiing. I find joy in exploring, traveling, and connecting with the natural world.
My favorite “green” thing to do is:
Living simply and mindfully— working daily to follow the mantra, “use it up, wear it out, make do, or do without.” I focus on reducing waste, reusing materials, and embracing the beauty of the outdoors.
The craziest thing I have ever done in the name of sustainability is:
Not crazy, —every day, I try to make it a point to pick up at least five pieces of trash. Small actions can make a big difference.
