Join HC3 this summer for our Water in the West speaker series! Each month, we will be collaborating with local organizations to explore critical water issues impacting our region. Join the conversation and become part of the solution through these inspirational and educational events.
The last Water in the West event will feature speaker Alex Hager. Alex is KUNC’s reporter covering the Colorado River. He has reported from each of the basin’s seven states and Mexico while covering the cities, tribes, farms and ecosystems that rely on its water. On September 17th, Alex will share the compelling story of the current state of the Colorado River to inspire the Summit County community to take action to protect this precious resource.
Alex’s work has been featured on national programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Up First, Marketplace, The Indicator and Science Friday.
