Allie comes to us from the suburbs of Indianapolis, where her family instilled in her a love for protecting the environment at a young age. Since then, she has been an adamant recycler, composter, and conservationist. She flourished when studying ecotourism and sustainable agriculture at Chaa Creek Eco Resort and Mayan Organic Farm in Belize. Her passion for sustainability and energy conservation was further enforced when she moved to Colorado in 2015 and saw firsthand the impact of climate change on mountain towns and beyond. She became more involved in the community during her time with Vail Resorts by volunteering for EpicPromise events and realized she wanted to do more. As HC3’s new Community Programs Manager, Allie is excited to engage with Summit County in a brand new way. Allie loves anything outdoors including rafting, skiing, SUPing, hiking, camping, and gardening. You can also find her enjoying local events, live music, and spending time with her family and fur babies.
