HC3 Turns 50: Now, Then & Always

In 1976, Tim McClure founded the Summit Recycling Project with a simple mission: to reduce waste and recover resources. Fifty years later, that small-but-mighty idea has grown into the High Country Conservation Center, Summit County's go-to nonprofit for conservation, sustainability, and local climate action.
We're celebrating 50 years of community, conservation, and everything in between, and we want you there.
Join us for an evening of cold drinks, light bites, and a walk down memory lane as we reflect on where we started, how far we've come, and the values that have guided us every step of the way.
Event is free.
