High Country Conservation Center in partnership with Summit County will be helping residents properly dispose of their household hazardous waste (HHW) by making dropping off these items easy. The community is invited to bring their unwanted paint, household cleaners, electronic waste, medications, and gently used clothing to the Summit Stage Bus Barn on August 28th from 8AM – 2PM. See what’s accepted. Certain HHW exclusions will apply.
HHW materials are also accepted year-round at the Summit County Resource Allocation Park Monday – Friday 7am -3:30pm and Saturday 7am-noon. Learn more about HHW recycling or call HC3 at (970) 668-5703.
