DESCRIPTION:Friday\, May 29 | 9am – 12pm | Various Locations \n\n\n\nYou’ve been collecting food scraps all year long\, now it’s time to reap the benefits. HC3\, in partnership with the Summit County Resource Allocation Park\, is offering FREE compost to food scrap participants!  Bring your own bag or bucket\, and stop by one of three locations on Friday\, May 29th from 9am-12pm to receive your free sample of High Country Compost.   Locations:  \n\n\n\n\nFrisco: 83 Nancy’s Place by the Summit County Community and Senior Center. \n\n\n\nDillon: 152 Tenderfoot Street by the Dillon Public Basketball Court.  \n\n\n\nBreckenridge: Denison Placer Rd & Coyne Valley Rd by Colorado Mountain College. \n\n\n\n\n*Free compost is reserved for Food Scrap Program Participants only and there is a limit of one bag/bucket per person.* \n\n\n\nInterested in volunteering for the Compost Giveaway? Join HC3 and Summit County Government for this free drive-through event.  \n\n\n\nAccepted at the Event:  \n\n\n\n\nVape Devices\nPrescription and over-the-counter medications  \n\n\n\n\n\nPill form medications: original containers preferred\, but will accept any packaging \n\n\n\n\n\nLiquid form medications: original containers only \n\n\n\n\n\nElectronic Waste  \n\n\n\n\n\nTVs\, laptops\, cellphones & tablets \n\n\n\n\n\nComputer monitors\, printers\, keyboards & wires \n\n\n\n\n\nSound systems\, DVD players & VCRs  \n\n\n\n\n\nAerosol cans\, chemicals & cleaners \n\n\n\n\n\nPaints\, thinners\, glues & adhesives \n\n\n\n\n\nFertilizers & pesticides \n\n\n\n\n\nGently used clothing \n\n\n\n\n\nBatteries \n\n\n\n\n\nMercury thermostats and switches \n\n\n\n\nNot Accepted at the Event:  \n\n\n\n\nNo Ammunition  \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Gasoline\, Antifreeze\, Motor oil\, and Oil filters \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Appliances or Scrap Metal \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Explosives \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Infectious or Biologically active materials \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Propane tanks \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Fluorescent or CFLs bulbs \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Radioactive materials \n\n\n\n\n\nNo Commercial loads \n\n\n\n\nCan’t make the event? The Summit County Resource Allocation Park accepts many of these items and more\, year-round. It’s free for residents and homeowners.
