Beginning his story in Cleveland, Ohio, Sean found a home in nature through family camping trips, summers spent fishing, kayaking, dirt biking and hiking and winters sledding, building snow forts, and being the guinea pig for anything his four older brothers and golden retriever could dream up. He found a love for cooking early on which guided him toward a career in the food and beverage industry around Cleveland, down to Naples, Florida and ultimately to Colorado, fulfilling his childhood dream of soaking up all the Rocky Mountains have to offer. Sean decided to return to college right around covid times to pursue his bachelor?s degree and completed his B.A. in Sustainability Studies from Colorado Mountain College in 2022, accompanied by an Integrative Nutrition Coaching certification in 2023. With a plethora of work experience including landscaping/gardening, food cart ownership, farmers market experience, and most recently working in the solar industry in San Diego, Sean brings a unique mindset to HC3. Couple this with a systems thinking and entrepreneurial approach to work, play, and community and you have an energy advisor who hopes to help make this community as healthy, sustainable and inclusive as possible. When Sean isn?t working you can find him hiking 14ers, climbing at a local crag, mountain biking, split boarding, working on his 4Runner ?Bessy?, or camping with friends. Although, he is never quite as stoked as he is when he?s standing sideways with some kind of board under his feet.
