What is a Carton?

Cartons can come with flat tops or slanted gable tops.

The flat top cartons usually contain juice (small juice boxes), broth, soup, coconut water, or boxed wine.
The gable topped (those that look like a pitched roof) are typically found with milk (dairy or plant-based), creamers, egg substitutes and juice.
Both types of cartons often have a plastic cap, however sometimes gable tops open by pushing up the “roof” and creating a spout.
